The Victorian  BJMA State Grading is our premier event. Hundreds of members come together to be part of this day. Share in the Physical, Spiritual and Mental test of a martial arts grading. These test range from members beating the nerves to be assessed after months of training to those going for their coveted BLACK BELT after years of dedication. It continues right through to those being honored after more than 4 decades of living as a martial artist and striving with every fiber of their being to be the best they can be in all aspects of the warriors code.
State Grading 2020 - Covid restrictions, changes.

Due to the sever interruption to training and the ongoing uncertainty to training restrictions, working with partners and large gatherings, the VLT and the Victorian grading co-ordinators have put together a plan towards 2020 and 2021. The coordinators used feedback from the last State Training Day, on zoom, to assist with making their decision as well as consideration to the requirements of each grading, expectations, and the importance of these gradings to everyone involved.
